Debate 'Regional elections, national battle'

Prime Minister Rutte referred to the elections of the provincial council as national elections which also directly affect the cabinet. Therefore Rutte will campaign himself.

But what does the ideal campaign look like? Will the leaders of national parties dominate the regional elections? And will provincial themes be overshadowed by national issues? These questions and more have been raised during this debate with Herman Lelieveldt (University College Roosevelt), Sander de Rouwe (campaign leader CDA Friesland), Geertjan Wenneker (campaign leader D66 Zuid-Holland) en Xander den Uyl (chairman PvdA Noord-Holland) moderated by Max van Weezel.
