Iceland sends three bank bosses to prison - Main contents

For­mer CEO of Lands­banki Islands, Sig­ur­jon Ana­son, was Wednesday sen­tenced to 12 months in prison for mar­ket ma­nip­u­la­tion in 2008, reports mbl.is. Two other for­mer em­ploy­ees were also sen­tenced to prison. Lands­banki Islands was one of the three large banks that went bankrupt causing an eco­nomic cri­sis in Ice­land.
