Bernd Lucke was a member of the European Parliament from 4 July 2017 to 1 July 2019 and from 1 July 2014 to 4 July 2017 as an independent member, and was aligned with the European Conservatives and Reformists. Lucke took seat in Parliament on behalf of Germany.
