city Rome, Italy
organisation European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) i

EASA’s Annual Safety Conference has a long standing tradition, every year addressing a different safety topic. As part of EASA’s re-energised focus on General Aviation, the 2014 EASA Safety Conference focuses on this topic; and in particular the Agency’s ongoing efforts towards creating a simpler, lighter, better regulatory framework for General Aviation.

The conference will open on Wednesday 15 October. A series of Panel Discussions will follow over the next two days, addressing a range of important themes including Pilot Licencing, Airworthiness for small aircraft and other elements of EASA’s GA Roadmap. The panels will provide a forum for fruitful discussion, with the participation of a varied group of speakers drawn from all areas of the General Aviation Community including, Regulators, Clubs & Associations and Industry.

Following the kind invitation from ENAC (Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile), this year’s Conference is taking place in Rome, Italy; coinciding with the country’s Presidency of the Council of the EU. No introductions are needed for this historic and well-visited city which offers excellent transportation links and accommodation services.

You can access the latest version of the Conference Agenda from the Download box on the right. The Agenda will be updated on a regular basis.

The 2014 EASA Safety Conference is taking place at Radisson Blu Es Hotel Rome Via Filippo Turati, 171 - I-00185, Rome.
