The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) is an independent non-profit organisation which mediates in commercial disputes. The organisation delivers services in dispute resolution and training, and provides access to expertise in the commercial problem solving disciplines. The central aim of CEDR is to help achieve resolution of conflicts in business. Furthermore, the Centre encourages the development and use of the Alternative Dispute Resolution method.

CEDR tries to help businesses and law firms that are facing a dispute. The organisation can provide advice to the business or firm and can recommend an accredited mediator to resolve the problem. Because of that, CEDR also provides training to mediators and empowers them to perform as an accredited mediator.
