European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC) - Main contents

The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC) is established to mobilize the different stakeholders in road transport and to provide a comprehensive vision of these stakeholders with respect to research and development in the road transport sector. By doing that, ERTRAC tries to stimulate effective private and public investments in road transport.

Furthermore, the aim of ERTRAC is to improve the coordination between the European, national and regional public and private investments in road transport. Finally, the purpose of ERTRAC is to enhance the global competiveness of the road transport industries.

ERTRAC represents the interests of all kind of actors in the road transport sector, from companies to academia and from the European Commission to member states and observers.
