The Right Honourable Sir N.W.P. (Nick) Clegg - Main contents

The Right Honourable Sir Nick Clegg (1967) is the former leader of the Liberal Democrats and served as Deputy Prime Minister in Britain's first post-war coalition government under David Cameron. Under Clegg's leadership the LibDems performed both exceptionally well and very poorly in the general elections. Before entering the national political scene, Clegg was a member of the European Parliament.

Clegg wrote and co-authored many pamphlets and books. A recurring central theme is his work is that people ought to be enabled to make their own decisions and to trust in each individual's abilities. Clegg positioned the LibDems as 'radically centrist'.
