Please find enclosed a proposal for a Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 1628/96 i relating to aid for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, in particular through the setting up of a European Agency for Reconstruction.
This proposal is in response to the request from the European Council at its meeting on 3 and
4 June 1999.
