CONNECT Advisory Forum for ICT Research and Innovation (CAF) - Call for Expressions of Interest

As part of the preparation for Horizon 2020, the Communications Networks, Content and Technology Directorate General of the European Commission (DG CONNECT) is setting up a new advisory structure - the CONNECT Advisory Forum for ICT Research and Innovation (CAF) - that will replace the former Information Society Technologies Advisory Group (ISTAG). The "call for expressions of interest" for the selection of the members of the CAF is open until the 26th October. The CAF will be providing advice to DG CONNECT about the orientations for research and innovation and other initiatives dealing with communication networks, computing systems, digital content and related technologies. The orientations for the first wave of work-programmes of Horizon 2020 will be the most immediate assignment of the CAF. Applications may be submitted by individuals, representatives of collective interest groups and organisations.
