- 18.The Article 29 Working Party has established a subgroup on RFID to analyse the concept of personal data and how far RFIDs are covered by the Data Protection Directive. If deemed necessary, the Working Party can make proposals on which kind of legal amendments to the directive are required or which other measures could help to close data protection gaps.
