Subject : Outcome of Proceedings of the CP 931 Working Party meeting held on

27 October 2009

Review

  • 1. 
    The Working Party continued the review of the list of persons, groups and entities involved in terrorist acts to be carried out pursuant to Article 1(6) of Council Common Position

    2001/931/CFSP and Article 2(3) of Council Regulation (EC) No 2580/2001 i.

  • 2. 
    The Working Party discussed the possible follow-up to the recent judgment of the Court of First Instance in a case concerning one individual included in the list. The Working Party

    decided to revert to this matter at its next meeting.

  • 3. 
    The Working Party agreed the amended statements of reasons for a certain number of groups included in the list. Those documents would be transmitted for examination to the Foreign Relations Counsellors' Working Party with a view to their formal adoption by the Council. For one individual included in the list, the Working Party considered it was not necessary to update the statement of reasons.
