Book: 'Met het oog op Europa'

This book was published on 25 May 2009, in which Gerrit Voerman and Nelleke van de Walle analyse the usage of campaign-pamphlets by Dutch political paries for the European Elections between 1979-2009.

The way the political parties present the pamphlets and posters to their voters has changed over time: the initial enthusiasm for European integration has decreased, while a greater emphasis is being put on the place the Netherlands holds within the European Union. The book gives a brief description of the election-programmes and the themes that dominated the campaigns.
