Jan Fischer (1951) was in 2009-2010 minister-president van Tsjechië. Hij was voorzitter van het Tsjechische Statistische Bureau en werkte ook voorheen bij instituten op statistisch gebied. In 1980-1989 was Fischer lid van de communistische partij, sindsdien is hij partijloos.
