THE COOPERATION COMMITTEE IN TRADE CONFIGURATION,

Having regard to the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the other part, and in particular Article 196(1) thereof,

Whereas:

(1)The Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the other part 1  (‘the Agreement’), entered into force on 1 March 2020.

(2)In accordance with Article 196(1) of the Agreement, the Cooperation Committee in Trade configuration, as set out in Article 269(5) of the Agreement, is to establish, no later than six months after the entry into force of the Agreement, a list of at least 15 individuals to serve as arbitrators in dispute settlement proceedings,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The list of individuals to serve as arbitrators in dispute settlement proceedings for the purposes of Article 196(1) of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the other part, is established as set out in the Annex to this Decision.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.
