Agreement on the European Economic Area, the EU Digital COVID Certificate Regulation has been incorporated in that agreement and as such it also applies to Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway (Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 187/2021 of 30 June 2021 amending Annex V (Free movement of workers) and Annex VIII (Right of establishment) to the EEA Agreement (OJ L 124, 8.5.2008, p. 20)).

7As of May 2023, it appears that three countries connected to the EU Gateway still have some COVID-related restrictions in place (Indonesia, the Philippines and Togo). Outside of the EU Digital COVID Certificate context, China also continues to keep testing requirements in place.
