(1) In accordance with Council Decision (EU)…/… 1 , the Agreement between the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on certain aspects of air services (‘the Agreement’) was signed on […], subject to its conclusion at a later date.

(2) The objective of the Agreement is to bring bilateral air services agreements between 16 Member States and Kazakhstan in line with Union law.

(3) The Agreement should be approved on behalf of the Union.
