table>(1)The Commission has negotiated on behalf of the Union an Agreement with the Federative Republic of Brazil amending the Agreement between the European Union and the Federative Republic of Brazil on short-stay visa waiver for holders of diplomatic, service or official passports (the ‘Agreement’).
(2)Pursuant to Council Decision (EU) 2018/1869 (2), the Agreement was signed on 27 September 2021, subject to its conclusion.

(3)This Decision constitutes a development of the provisions of the Schengen acquis in which Ireland does not take part, in accordance with Council Decision 2002/192/EC (3); Ireland is therefore not taking part in the adoption of this Decision and is not bound by it or subject to its application.

(4)The Agreement should be approved,
