table>(1)The Association Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Moldova, of the other part (1) (the ‘Agreement’), was signed on 27 June 2014 and entered into force on 1 July 2016.

(2)	In accordance with Article 436(1) of the Agreement, the Association Council has the power to adopt recommendations, for the purposes of attaining the objectives of the Agreement.

(3)	To facilitate the application of the Agreement, the Parties have agreed to establish an Association Agenda with a view to providing a list of priorities for their joint work on a sector-by-sector basis.

(4)	The Parties have agreed on an Association Agenda to facilitate the implementation of the Agreement. The Association Agenda will be adopted by the Association Council established by the Agreement.

(5)	The Union's position in the Association Council on the adoption of the EU-Republic of Moldova Association Agenda for 2017-2019 is to be adopted by the Council,
