table>(1)On 5 December 2004, the Council authorised the Commission to negotiate a Euro-Mediterranean Aviation Agreement between the European Community and its Member States and the Kingdom of Morocco.
(2)The Euro-Mediterranean Aviation Agreement between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Kingdom of Morocco, of the other part (2) (‘the Agreement’) was signed in Brussels on 12 December 2006.

(3)The Treaty concerning the Accession of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union was signed in Luxembourg on 25 April 2005 and entered into force on 1 January 2007.

(4)A Protocol amending the Agreement is necessary in order to take account of the accession of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union.

(5)The Protocol was signed on 18 June 2012.

(6)As a consequence of the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon on 1 December 2009, the European Union has replaced and succeeded the European Community.
