- 1.Article 1 of the Montreal Protocol defines 'Consumption' as production plus imports minus exports of controlled substances.
- 2.Successful reductions in developing countries have been made possible by the Multilateral Fund which to date has channelled about
- 3.These big contributions to climate change are due to the very high global warming potential (GWP) of ozone-depleting substances (some of which are more than 14 000 times more potent than CO2).
- 4.Costs would be significantly lower if taking into account the likely decision to deregister Methyl Bromide on health grounds.
