Contents

Article 1

The signing of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Albania on operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in the Republic of Albania (the ‘Agreement’), is hereby approved on behalf of the Union, subject to the conclusion of the said Agreement.

The text of the Agreement is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The Declaration attached to this Decision shall be approved on behalf of the Union.

Article 3

The Council Secretariat General shall establish the instrument of full powers to sign the Agreement, subject to its conclusion, for the person(s) indicated by the Commission.

Article 4

The Agreement shall be applied provisionally, in accordance with Article 22(2) of the Agreement, as from the date of notification of the completion of internal procedures by the Parties to this effect.
