Contents

Article 1

The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf in the thirteenth meeting of Conference of the Parties shall be the following:

(a)to support the addition to Appendix I to the Convention of the following species:

—Tetrax tetrax,

—Elephas maximus indicus,

—Panthera onca,

—Ardeotis nigriceps,

—Houbaropsis bengalensis bengalensis,

—Diomedea antipodensis,

—Carcharhinus longimanus;

(b)to support the addition to Appendix II to the Convention of the following species:

—Tetrax tetrax,

—Galeorhinus galeus,

—Sphyrna zygaena (global population),

—Panthera onca,

—Ovis vignei.

Article 2

The Commission, on behalf of the Union, shall communicate to the Depository of the Convention the withdrawal of its reservation concerning the inclusion of Cetorhinus maximus in Appendix I to the Convention.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
